Business Development Manager

The Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for hunting net new opportunities and strategically selling sponsorships into C-Vision’s portfolio through acquisition of new business.

About the Role:

The Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for hunting net new opportunities and strategically selling sponsorships into C-Vision’s portfolio through acquisition of new business.

What You’ll Do:

  • Prospect and secure net new business to support the C-Vision business through sponsorship sales; strategically building relationships with sales and marketing professionals at all levels of an organization
  • Build and maintain a predictable sales pipeline to ensure quota attainment
  • Develop strong, collaborative, relationships with internal sales teams to close multi-market account opportunities
  • Clearly identify highest level decision makers in order to elevate influence and determine client's mission critical priorities and help execute on those priorities through sponsorship sales

What You’ll Need:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of business to business sales experience; preferably information technology sales experience
  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred
  • Proven ability to understand enterprise wide issues and to structure innovative, integrated solutions that provide marketing decision support to global organizations in achieving their business goals
  • Knowledge of the issues faced by C-level heads of Sales and Marketing
  • Good understanding of business buying centers
  • Solid industry specific and account knowledge
  • Ability to travel to events, client meetings, competitive conferences

Visionary Acquisition Manager

Remote, or hybrid from one of our hubs (Chicago, Lisbon, London, Pristina, Vadodara) Visionary Full Time

Our events are only as good as the people in the room. This role owns that. You'll find, engage, and bring in the senior leaders who make a C-Vision think tank, dinner, or summit worth showing up for, and build the kind of relationships that keep them coming back.

It's part research, part outreach, part relationship building. You'll work hand in hand with our programming and content teams to match the right executives to the right rooms, and you'll feel the impact of your work at every single event.

What You’ll Do:

  • Source and recruit senior executives across IT, security, marketing, data, and operations to attend our events, owning attendance targets for the programs you're assigne
  • Run thoughtful, personalized outreach across email, LinkedIn, phone, and referrals that gets a response from people who get a hundred cold pitches a week
  • Vet every prospective attendee so the room stays curated and the seniority bar stays high
  • Build and protect long-term relationships with our visionary community, turning one-time attendees into repeat guests, speakers, and referrers
  • Partner with the programming team to understand each agenda and bring in the executives best suited to the conversation
  • Keep our executive database accurate and growing, tracking outreach, responses, and attendance in the CRM
  • Spot patterns in who's saying yes and why, and feed that back to sharpen how we pitch and who we target

What we're looking for:

  • Experience in executive recruitment, delegate or speaker acquisition, sales development, executive search, or a comparable relationship-driven role
  • A natural relationship builder who's comfortable reaching out to C-level and senior leaders and can hold a credible conversation with them
  • Genuinely persuasive in writing, with the instinct to personalize rather than blast
  • Organized and target-driven, able to manage a high volume of outreach without letting anyone fall through the cracks
  • Comfortable with CRM tools and happy to live in the data that tells you what's working
  • Self-directed and steady under deadline pressure, since every event has a hard date

Nice to have:

  • Familiarity with the executive landscape in technology, cybersecurity, or marketing
  • Experience working across regions and time zones
  • A network you can already tap into
