AI adoption in SDLC is widespread but immature. Most firms remain early in embedding AI into their SDLC. While 76% have adopted AI to some degree, only 20% report pervasive adoption across the SDLC phases. Even this does not imply scaled usage or the reorchestration of operating models, roles, processes, and governance required for AI-driven software delivery.
