The healthcare industry is at a critical crossroads, driven by the simultaneous surge of cloud adoption and AI-integrated care. With the rise of autonomous agents, the industry faces a high-stakes challenge: defining the governance that will dictate how humans and AI safely co-evolve in clinical settings. To bridge this gap, leadership must move beyond static silos toward a unified strategy that encompasses AI security and governance, cloud security and enablement, and SOC transformation by changing how we view threats. Together, we will explore the "New Governance" model—implementing the guardrails necessary to prevent PHI leakage through prompts, securing "Shadow AI" used by the workforce, and transforming a SOC capable of defending an AI-driven perimeter.
