About Me
Sean McAfee is the Federal CSTO at Qualys. In this role, McAfee will help federal agencies strengthen cyber risk management, modernize vulnerability management and address emerging threats to critical infrastructure through the Risk Operations Center (ROC) framework. McAfee brings more than fifteen years of experience serving in federal and state cybersecurity leadership roles focused on protecting U.S. critical infrastructure. His background includes senior positions at CISA, where he supported national level cyber operations, international information sharing and incident response coordination, public private technology partnerships, and technical assessment programs spanning vulnerability management, cyber hygiene, and red team operations. McAfee previously served as CISO for the Ohio Secretary of State and remains active in advancing cybersecurity workforce initiatives and critical infrastructure protection as a volunteer for the Ohio Cyber Reserve (OhCR).
