Ankana had an expansive childhood growing up in Libya in a multi-cultural, multi- national, multi-lingual environment. And that was just the start of her exposure to diverse environments. Having worked in UK, Australia, US, Asia, Spain, Portugal, Ankana has experienced life out of a usual bubble, and learned to converge the best of different worlds. That's evident from her career. She has 20+ years of experience in corporate world, and now is the Head of Consumer Deposit Product Technology at Toronto Dominion Bank in US, and her team is responsible for the tech behind the deposit product customer journey, right from shopping all the way to servicing. She is also a founder of two businesses and owns 4 patents across US & EU. She is an advocate for women’s needs & rights, specifically working mothers. As the Executive Lead for the Women at TD US, she leads the community of all women at TD US, mentoring & coaching many, and lobbying for changes in policies that support working mothers. She is a well-known thought leader & speaker inside and outside the bank on topics like AI, Machine Learning, Diversity, Leadership development and Coaching.
