Join us for an enlightening discussion chat as we delve into the intricacies of DORA (Digital Operational Resilience Act) requirements, setting the stage for a robust discussion on the evolving landscape of cybersecurity in the financial sector. This session will explore the four pivotal domains outlined by DORA: ICT risk management and governance, incident response and reporting, digital operational resilience testing, and third-party risk management. We'll unravel the responsibilities placed on financial entities and ICT providers, from cultivating a digital culture of innovation and collaboration to the rigorous testing and reporting mandated for incident management. Discover how organizations can proactively adapt to these requirements, leveraging insights from expert guests and anticipating the forthcoming technical standards that will shape the future of financial cybersecurity.

CIO versus CISO: A Duet or a Duel?
In today’s digital-first landscape, the roles of CIO and CISO are critical, yet they often find themselves in a dynamic tension that can either propel or stymie an organization's progress. This session will explore the delicate balance between the CIOs mandate to drive innovation, efficiency, and growth through technology, and the CISOs duty to protect those advancements from an ever-evolving landscape of cyber threats. Are these roles destined for conflict, or can they harmonize to create a resilient, agile digital strategy? Through case studies and best practices, we'll unpack how organizations can foster collaboration rather than competition between these roles—building bridges that enhance security without stifling innovation. Ultimately, the talk will examine how a duet approach, based on mutual understanding and shared goals, can transform potential duels into unified efforts for digital transformation and cybersecurity.

AI vs Human Hackers - The Evolution of Cyber Attacks
AI is rapidly changing the landscape of cyberattacks, with cybercriminals and nation-states using it to their advantage. The increasing use of AI is making future attacks far more sophisticated and dangerous. Massive data breaches—like the recent exposure of over 26 billion records—are giving AI the ability to learn from vast amounts of personal information, enabling highly targeted and personalised attacks.
In the next three years, AI will revolutionise phishing scams, creating emails and messages so convincing they’ll be almost impossible to detect. The scale of these attacks will increase exponentially, making traditional defences ineffective. Deepfake technology will further enhance the threat, allowing attackers to impersonate colleagues, friends, or even high-value corporate targets in real-time interactions.
To defend against this, organisations must take proactive steps now—training employees on the dangers of AI-driven cyber threats, reducing reliance on email, and adopting more secure communication platforms. Vigilance is key, as AI continues to escalate the complexity and scale of cyberattacks, making it crucial for individuals and businesses to stay ahead of these evolving threats.
