About Me

Amir Yekani joined AWS Canada in March 2022. He is a Senior Leader for the Solutions Architects (SA) in AWS Canada's Enterprise and TMEGS business. Amir empowers the SA organization to be trusted advisors to customers seeking to achieve their business objectives. His team partners with customers, the AWS Partner network, and several other internal teams to craft highly scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures for the most critical workloads that support customers’ digital transformations and journey to the cloud. Prior to AWS, Amir spent 25+ years working in Accenture and Deloitte focused on public sector, utilities, banking, retail and energy. Amir is an avid kayaker and utilizes it as a method to disconnect and meditate and reset for the week. He also invests his time to inspire and mentor younger generations to achieve their goals, and is an ally for women in technology.
