The usage of AI has become increasingly democratized over the past few years- no longer reserved for organizations with the resources to fully leverage its benefits. With this increased adoption, however, comes ever-increasing likelihood of business disruption due to the lack of basic security and hygiene.
As AI platforms deliver more value, they start to use more data- and the data stores that house it are often not a priority in security posture considerations. Overlooking very simple, constantly exploited compromise vectors, should warrant making data security a key component of the overall security program.
