Cybersecurity’s role in enterprise business activities is growing exponentially. As executive leaders and board members from all industries realize the importance of cybersecurity, board directors turn to their CEOs, CFOs, CIOs and CISOs to understand their organization's ability to successfully manage cyber risk. This shift has placed new challenges and expectations on the CISO. Jane has 25 years of service with Great-West Life Europe, holding a variety of IT infrastructure roles over the years, with 16 years in senior leadership roles. She moved into Information Security 6 years ago to take on the role of European Central Security Services Manager before being appointed Acting Chief Information Security Officer in 2020. Since then, she has attained CISSP and CISM security certifications and also holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Trinity College Dublin. Jane has a track record of building successful teams and is known for her ‘Can Do’ attitude while always keeping the customer in mind.
