About Me

35 years of experience in retail, consumer products, and wholesale solution creation and implementation. In his role he engages with Anaplan customers and prospects to ensure that Anaplan's connected planning platform addresses the key use cases of value for retailers. Prior to Anaplan, Bob served in various sales, consulting and management roles for IBM, AC Nielsen, Information Resources, Inc., Seagate Technologies and J&J's consumer companies. Over the years Bob developed, sold and supported several Retail business data-driven analytic and planning applications including POS systems, customer engagement systems delivering end-to-end experience for B2C and B2B customers using 1st, 2nd and 3rd party data sources, and centralized analytic modules, and promotion planning, pricing, and markdown systems. Bob specializes in understanding customer buying behavior, evaluating campaign performance, optimizing experience across all channels of the customer journey, and ultimately optimizing campaign spend and ROI.

About Me

Mark leads the Anaplan supply chain business in the Americas. He has a long supply chain and analytics technology background across multiple industries. Additionally, he has been in industry as a practitioner leading the demand planning function for a large footwear/apparel company. For 7 years, he led all the go-to-market initiatives for a predictive analytics company called We Predict which was ultimately acquired by JD Power. Prior to that he ran sales and strategy for the manufacturing vertical at SAS, a leading analytics provider. Mark also spent many years running Oracle’s N. American value chain planning business coming into that portfolio with Oracle’s Demantra acquisition. He has a specialty in demand planning, S&OP and IBP.
